In mid-June the Smart Cities Network in Gothenburg met for the fourth time since 2013. This time the focus of the meeting was how large scale European projects can strengthen the city’s own strategies and goals on a local level and how working in projects can add long term value to the city. The group also listened to Anna Svensson from the City of Gothenburg and Erica Eneqvist from SP, who presented some of the findings from the STEP UP project. The idea behind the Gothenburg Smart Cities Network is to bring together participants from different projects, in order to share the results, experiences and ideas between them.
In this film Kristina Mjörnell from SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden tells us more about the benefits of meeting like this.
