 | Through the STEP UP project and as signatories of the Covenant of Mayors, Ghent, Glasgow, Gothenburg and Riga have developed enhanced Sustainable Energy Action Plans (SEAPs), setting out visions, targets and actions which will deliver multiple benefits for their cities and citizens. |
The STEP UP cities have taken an integrated approach to energy and urban planning and a holistic perspective of sustainability within the city, developing their SEAPs through discussion with a wide circle of stakeholders and gaining political approval for these plans to be implemented by 2020.
